Airport scanners 01/06/2010
 
I think the new airport scanners are a good thing and the arguments against them are invalid. People who don't want to go through them have the option of having a pat-down so there's no reason why anyone should complain about them. Radiation from the scanner is also less than what you'll be exposed to on the actual flight so if you don't have a problem with that then a scanner should also not be of concern.
