LONDON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT September 2017 I learned how to fly at London International Airport when I was 15 along with my dad who was also into flying-since I was too young to drive my dad decided he might as well learn to fly too since he was going to be driving me to the airport.. My first instructor was a former F-104 fighter pilot, Bob Fallis, who didn't seem to think anything of passing control to me even before leaving the ground-even in a plodding C-152, it was a pretty exciting ride. The last time I attended an airshow there was in 1977, when F-4 Phamtoms, Delta Darts and A-4 Intruders were still seeing active duty with the American Airforce and would regularly attend the summer airshow there. It's been a few years so I decided to drop by and check out the latest offering of military hardware. Comments about my website? [email protected]
